Our Review

Top Up TV is Freeview with a difference. It offers all the channels and services as Freeview but with more programmes available. Options to top up to more specialist channels are available, including Setanta Sports and Picture box for movies.

On Top Up TV it is possible to watch while recording another channel. Pre- recording can even be organised to recored a whole series. There is a 14 day TV guide and it is possible to set parental control on certain channel. Top Up TV also has the important toilet break setting where it is possible to pause live TV. You will never miss that vital goal again.

Top Up TV's new package is available for existing customers for a one off payment of £75 for the box and connection. Monthly payments after this are £9.99 with a 12 month contract. If existing customers wish to have the new Top Up TV service without a contract they can still arrange this for £9.99 although they must pay £120 for the connection and box.

For new customers, get one month free when you sign up online. Pay just £9.99 a month with a one off payment of £139.99.

For sport or movie fans add-ons are available. Picture box is available for an extra £5 a month and Setanta sports is an extra £9.99.

I like TopupTV! Ok it dosen't have as many channels as the other providers but I use it as a second system to my Sky. The only downside I have found is that some of the content they download is duplicated, so you think your getting a new episode of somethings and find it's the one you watched a few weeks ago. Apart from that I love it.

Our Conclusion:
Top up TV; Freeview with added channels and programmes. Your favourite channels can be enjoyed at your own time with watch, record and pause services for just £9.99 a month.
